A clearer electrical
capacity conversation.
PanelLoad grew from a practical inspection question: can the recorded electrical supply accommodate a home's equipment, including an added suite, dryer, range or EV charger?
Built around the inspection
Keep property details, main and subpanels, circuit labels, equipment and dataplate information in one record. Review assumptions and create a dated report for further evaluation.
Screening, not electrical approval
PanelLoad does not replace a licensed electrician. Photographs and estimates cannot verify conductor sizing, hidden wiring, installation condition, phase balance or actual electrical demand. A capacity band is not permission to add equipment or proof that an installation is safe or code compliant.
Development pilot
This initial release supports records, photo annotations, draft screening and reports. Calculation methods and appliance defaults require independent electrical validation before client reliance. Dataplate reading supplies values for your review, and the age lookup reuses Inspect Canada’s manufacturer serial rules. BC Assessment import is not connected yet.
Local trades, when you need them
The electrician lookup uses Inspect Canada's trade directory. Confirm availability, qualifications and scope directly with the business. Promoted positions are identified; directory inclusion is not a workmanship guarantee.
